PRESS RELEASE.......PRESS RELEASETAKE A FRESH LOOK AT BEHAVIOURThe APBC (Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors) has re-launched its web site. The new look site, which can be found at www.apbc.org.uk , has been designed to be more user friendly and Full Members of the Association can now easily be found by geographic region. Vets and clients can quickly locate their nearest practitioner by clicking on the appropriate area on the UK map. This links to a quick reference list which also distinguishes the species seen by individual counsellors. New for pet owners is a ‘Top 10 Tips’ section providing useful information on keeping pets stimulated and happy. Dogs, cats, rabbits, horses and even rats are featured in an easy to read bullet point format. Owners who are experiencing problem behaviour with their pet now have a valuable source of information that they can turn to, in the first instance. The APBC represents an international network of qualified and experienced behaviourists working on vet referral. Many of the members are at the forefront of behavioural research and are recognised authors in this area of study. The very recently published (April 2004) book ‘The APBC Book of Companion Animal Behaviour’ is already on its second print run. APBC: info@apbc.org.uk, Tel: 01386 751151 |
