Separation Related Problems

The webinar will start with aspects of the prevalence, epidemiology and development of separation related behaviour in dogs, and progress to discussion around the importance of preventing the development of this type of behaviour and the different options for treatment of clinical cases.
Rachel Casey is a veterinary behaviourist whose current role at Dog’s Trust is that of Director of Canine Behaviour and Research.
She is a European Specialist in Animal Welfare, Ethics and Law and an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Behavioural Medicine. Rachel has particular research interests in the assessment of canine welfare, identifying early life risk factors for both undesired behaviours and medical conditions in dogs, and methods for encouraging human behaviour change to achieve animal welfare outcomes.
