There are many measures which can be taken to prepare cats and dogs for the handling they may require during their life, and to minimise distress and maximise compliance during handling, but there are also times where drug therapy may be indicated to facilitate safe handling and management. This webinar will look at handling and considerations when deciding on whether medication is appropriate, and pros and cons of the various agents available.

Kevin McPeake is a veterinary behaviourist who works in the Animal Behaviour Clinic at the University of Lincoln where he sees canine and feline behaviour referrals. Kevin is currently undertaking a PhD in canine behaviour and is working towards accreditation as a European Specialist in Veterinary Behavioural Medicine.
