Profile:
I have a post graduate diploma in animal behaviour counselling from the university of Southampton, as well as holding an honours degree in animal science, care and management. I only ever use positive reward based methods, as the overwhelming scientific evidence suggests that problem behaviour is more easily resolved if the animal learns to behave through kindness and reward. With this in mind I do not use any forms of what I consider to be aversive training techniques. I have over thirty years experience of working with dogs, cats and horses, and currently have two cats, and a dog that live with me in Broadstairs, Kent. I am also a member of the association of pet behaviour counsellors* working under the strict code of conduct as set out by the organisation. I absolutely love my work, and more importantly, will always aim to do the best I can for your pet.
