Originally from Hampshire, Carla completed an animal behaviour degree at Chester before qualifying from Liverpool as a vet surgeon in 2007. She moved to Skipton to work as a mixed animal vet before concentrating on small animals after four and a half years. She has been at Aireworth Vets since 2015, is VetPartners' current Vet of the Year, and has just completed her MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Lincoln. She enjoys all aspects of her job but having worked throughout lockdown and becoming aware of more and more patients with behaviour problems, she felt that the time was right to do her MSc and work towards gaining her CCAB status. She is very happy to have been accepted as a Provisional Member of the APBC and looks forward to dedicating more time to behaviour cases, whether that be cats or dogs, in their own homes or in practice.
