Profile:
I've been working with dogs for nearly 20 years, starting off in boarding kennels and rescue. When I finished my BSc (HONS) in Animal Behaviour Science at the University of Lincoln I started a career at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People where I qualified as an advanced dog trainer, I stayed there for 10 years. I was part of the charities demonstration team with my demo dog; Scout for over 7 years which helped me develop confidence and taught me a lot about advocating for dogs in public, as well as their well-being.
When I left hearing dogs for deaf people I relocated to Norfolk and started my business Educating Paws. I am a qualified Puppy School tutor and my puppy classes are regulated by the ABTC.
I specialise in young puppies as I feel passionate about getting things right from the start and reducing the chances of problems. I have a keen interest in puppy development and how best to support them at different stages. But I also run classes, one to one training and behaviour support for older puppies and adult dogs
