Clare specialises in helping barky lunging dogs be more relaxed around other dogs, whether the cause is frustration, anxiety or a mix of both.

Working for a dog training organisation, which involved training rescue dogs (since 2010) while also studying canine behaviour at degree level has given Clare a very practical combination of skills and theoretical knowledge. She particularly enjoys working with and seeing the changes in dogs who struggle around other dogs. Clare was previously a volunteer trainer with Dog AID (Assistance in Disability) supporting owners who wish to train their own support dogs. Clare has also fostered several dogs for rescue over the years, helping to support them in finding their own forever home. Clare regularly takes part in different dog sports with her own dogs, scentwork, agility, hoopers and gundog training and enjoys passing on her knowledge to our clients.
