I began practising as an animal behaviourist in April 1999 after obtaining a degree in Environmental Biology and a Masters from the University of Edinburgh in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare. I became a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) in 2006. I am listed on the ABTC website as a Clinical Animal Behaviourist and am a member of the British Veterinary Behaviour Association (BVBA). I see canine and feline behaviour cases on veterinary referral and carry out consultations in the owner’s home. I have worked as an expert witness for the RSPCA and have delivered numerous lectures and seminars over the years to various organisations involved in animal welfare. I currently own a selection of rescue pets including two dogs, four cats and a hamster!
