Training Courses

The APBC firmly believes that individuals, who wish to embark on a career in pet behaviour therapy, sThe APBC firmly believes that individuals, who wish to embark on a career in pet behaviour therapy, should aim to obtain the highest academic qualifications available to them. Courses which are currently recognised by the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) are accepted by the APBC, at level 5 (Animal Behaviour Technician) and Level 6 (Clinical Animal Behaviourist): please see www.abtc.org.uk/practitioners-info/careers/  for the current list of recognised qualifications.

For those who have not been able to access these recognised courses, the APBC has an APEL route available for applicants to demonstrate their Knowledge & Understanding through the Accreditation of Prior Experience and Learning (APEL).
